Size
For size 36-40 I would recommend the S/M pattern of the Scarlett dress.
For size 42-46 I would recommend the L/XL pattern of the Scarlett dress.
If you have some doubts about wich size crochet pattern to order (S/M or L/XL), let me know in advance and I will try to help you decide!
Difficulty
This crochet pattern is for the intermediate to advanced crocheter (7/10).
Stitches used
Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet, back post double crochet.
Supplies
Yarn: Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush 50 gram = 280 meters. The amount of yarn you need depends on the desired length of the dress. For a knee length skirt you will need about 28 balls of yarn. For a floor-length dress, the amount can be up to 50 balls of yarn.
You can also use other yarn of 100% mercerized cotton, 50 grams = 280 meters. Needle thickness 1.25-1.5 mm.
Crochet hooks: crochet hook 2,5 mm, crochet hook 3 mm, crochet hook 4 mm, crochet hook 6 mm.
Other supplies: Stitch markers, darning needle, a zipper or buttons to close the dress, sewing thread and sewing needle, beads to decorate the belt. Optional: lining fabric.
