La Cocteau channels the women of the early and mid-20th century French Riviera. They take up space in our collective imagination. Confidantes, and lovers who moved effortlessly between art, intimacy, and public life on the Côte d'Azur

Cut from black Italian jersey with a fluid, weighted drape, the silhouette is elongated and precise. A high bateau neckline anchors the front with elegant restraint, slashing straight across, while the open back dips cleanly to the high waist, balancing composure and line with noticeable femininity.

The bodice is double-layered for structure and ease, holding its line. Armholes are subtly reinforced for a smooth, tailored fit. The skirt falls straight with a side slit to mid-thigh, allowing movement with grace.

Style with modern kitten heels to sharpen the line.

Made entirely in France, from first cut to final stitch.

Great book
Format: Paperback
This is very similar to Panel Two, which I bought because of certain comic book writers that I enjoyed. Panel One is basically the same, which provide examples and even so "how to's" and "why's that" type of information.

I love this book. If you are interested in how comics are made do yourself a favor. Also pick up the WIll Eisner textbook trilogy.

Seeing the Creative Process for Graphic Novels
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating look at the early creative processes writers do when they make scripts for graphic novels. The only down side to this book is it doesn't show any comparison between the scripts and the final product. I suppose that's part of the fun of this book is that you have to imagine the graphics just like the original artists did.
