It’s the same Mary, just floor length, for your elegant soirées and glamorous events that require something a bit more.
The colour is that purple that used to be reserved for royals. The Cadbury chocolate purple! It’s a shade that flatters all skin tones as it has both red and blue bases in it. (If you're a redhead, you will Queen in this colour).
The fabric is a new one for us. It looks just like a vintage crepe, with plenty of viscose in it. Some poly adds ease of care and strength of wear, and a touch of stretch for your happiest of dancing evenings.
Once you've placed your order we'll ask our UK manufacturers to finish it for you. It could take up to a week. (We'll keep you informed regarding the delivery date)
Our Mary vintage style dress recreates the late 30s to early 1940s with its gathered shoulders, puff sleeves and fitted waist. It has a great bust enhancing look, while displaying very little cleavage.
Other features include:
- A discrete invisible zip down the centre back - We know it isn't too vintage that way, but girls were getting stuck after having their hair done when we had only a side zip.
- Shoulder pads for authenticity (easily removed by snipping the stitching if you so desired)
- A-line skirt to skim the hips and tummy
- Machine Washable
- Very little ironing!
- 51% Viscose, 47% Polyester and 2% Elastane mix
- Made in the UK
