Beautiful and informative
Format: Hardcover
I've been playing this game since it came out and I can't keep all of it straight. I mean there are a lot of lorebooks to go through, but not much structural cohesion on how or even if you encounter them. This collection almost looks like some great librarian gathered all the lore books and curated the collection into an order that makes sense.
This isn't a comprehensive overview of the world. Molog Bal is barely mentioned, for example. Certainly no section dedicated to the planemeld and all that. This is closer to an encyclopedia of things you might finish the main quest and still not know, or might easily forget. I know I forgot half the Kajiti pantheon. I mean Jone and Jode, yeah, but some of the others not so much.
This is a great addition to the library of any fan. The cover is beautiful. I prefer ebooks generally, and wish this were available on Kindle as well, but I can see the intent on a book that is this much a work of art.
Now if only someone would start publishing the Investigator Vale novels.

A perfect collector’s item for any TES fan!

GOOD: The quality of the cover and pages are worthy the premium price tag. The new book smell is top notch! The artwork is so splendid, I found myself starring into them for several minutes, to appreciate the finer details.
BAD: None for me.
I played TES 4, and TES 5 more than any other game by a few hundred hours. I only recently became addicted to Elder Scrolls Online, and decided to treat my emphatic love of TES’s with these books, and I am quite pleased with my purchase. Some of the lore I had come across in game already, but due to keeping up with other players in my party, I wasn’t able to devote time to reading it, so it was great come back to it. I’ve been reading through these slowly, usually right after playing a couple hours before bed, which makes for a fun way to decompress. I plan on ordering the Skyrim equivalent lore books. Great product!!!

Art and quality!

Now the first thing I want to mention is the art style, i am absolutely in love with it, it's so sleek and beautiful just everything about it, so much loveand care was put into these books and as someone who loves skyrim it's just perfect. The lore is wonderful and the stories are just as amazing, it can be boring for me but that's just due to my adhd. The quality of the pages are strong and thick they wont tear by just fliping a page. the box itself is lovely just slide the booksnright on in and they fit perfectly!
So for anyone who loves skyrim this box set is highly recommended

Great books, quality control could use a little work but otherwise they are great.

The books are really nice. They are very well put together and full of little stories and background from the ES universe. My only gripe is that the first book had some really odd looking marks on the cover and back and some of the font on the spine was damaged. These were purchased brand new by the way.
