Rare and quite extraordinary 1920's chocolate brown silk panne velvet evening dress with extensive beading and avant-garde silhouette. As much wearable as it is a work of art worthy of display simply just to admire for the design and beadwork. A sold pane velvet background with interesting sleeves and a tie at the neck. The hem is scalloped and the beadwork compliments the shape. I love how the beads resolve below the neck in a series of bubbles that grow smaller as they approach the opening. Slips on over the head and is pleated in the back for ease of movement. In excellent condition, we removed the damaged sheer chiffon outer layer from the sleeves.

Condition: Overall excellent, we decided to removed the shattered silk chiffon outer layer of the sleeves because the silk was breaking. The dress itself is in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
