The Flora Boots are designed in collaboration with the Bata Shoe Museum. Every pair of shoes from the In Bloom collection benefits and supports The Bata Shoe Museum in their study, outreach, and conservation of historic footwear.
As a lace-up boot, Floras are very adjustable for a wide variety of ankle, calf, and instep measurements. The top of the Flora boots does not extend to the widest part of the calf muscle. Measurements scale a little based on size.
These measurements based on size 8W:
Ankle range - 9.25 to 13.25 inches / 23.5 - 33.6 cm
Shaft height - 7.8 inches / 20 cm
Boot top range - 11 to 15.5 inches / 28 - 39.3 cm
Tongue width - 4.62 inches / 11.7 cm
Though the antiques were made in silk, our boots are made in a durable and cleanable polyester satin, the ideal choice for footwear built to last. Spritz your shoes with Angelus Water & Stain Repellent to keep them in good condition and looking swell.
