The beauty is in the details of this piece.  Made of sandwashed silk charmeuse, it has two different sides, one is matte and the other is shiny, perfect to change up your look for any occasion.  The top and bottom edges are left with the natural micro-fringe selvedge edge, untouched since it was woven at the silk mill.

Care Instructions:

Machine wash with other like-colored soft clothing.  Use delicate cycle and cold water with mild silk-friendly detergent.  Transfer to dryer promptly and tumble on low for 15-20 minutes to revive softness and shine. Steam iron if necessary. Wash dark colors separately to avoid possible color transfer. Expect slight shrinkage after the first wash and dry.

The body wrap will uniquely drape each body type differently.  Experiment with the many ways to wear it to find your most loved styles.

This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Thankfully, women no longer have to pay more for retirement plans, and get lower payouts, than men. Amazing how many different, inventive the ways were in the 1960's to keep women out of jobs. Bless Title VII and the attorneys and clients who fought these battles; we stand on their shoulders. The saddest part is the update, at the end of the book showing how protections against gender discrimination in the workplace have weakened in recent years. In particular, it has become difficult, or nearly impossible, to prove that a hostile work environment exists so long as employers pay lip service to certain ideas and practices and hide what's really going on--which we working women KNOW still goes on, unfortunately.
