The chain is pretty sturdy but it’s removable and you can attach a different handle/strap if you’d like I love the look as I’ve got two Brahmin bags . The texture prevents being to see any small scratches and you can just wipe it off with a damp cloth I’ll carry it with the chain inside but don’t know if I’ll use it. People complain about the quality but seriously? It’s a $30 bag! I think it’s a great value myself. It’s sturdy enough to keep looking very nice and functional for a long time.. If you’re looking for a small clutch, this isn’t it, but it’s not too big either. I love it !
