The Surfy Industries Surfy Power Compact is a 200-watt FRFR solid-state power amp module designed to turn your SurfyMan preamp into a compact, gig-ready amplifier head. Built to deliver loud, clean and full-range power, it lets the character of your SurfyMan and SurfyBear spring reverb shine through, while remaining small enough to slip into a gig bag or pedalboard setup.

Magnetic connection and short jumper cables make the SurfyPower and SurfyMan combo feel like a single, integrated unit, sharing both signal and power. With dual speaker outputs, a total output of up to 200 watts at 4 ohms, and the ability to power your SurfyBear reverb from the SurfyPower, this tiny module gives you a flexible, portable rig for guitar or bass that can handle rehearsals, studio work and live stages with ease.

Turn Your SurfyMan into a Full Amplifier Head

The SurfyPower is purpose-built to be driven by the SurfyMan preamp, transforming it into a complete amplifier head without adding bulk or complexity. You keep the Brownface-inspired compression, fatness and feel of the SurfyMan, but now with enough power to drive real speaker cabinets. It is an elegant way to build a modular amp rig around the tone you already love.

FRFR Solid-State Power for Honest Tone

Using a Full Range Flat Response solid-state design, the SurfyPower delivers clean, transparent power that lets your preamp and pedals do the talking. Rather than imposing its own colour, it faithfully amplifies the SurfyMan’s sound and any connected SurfyBear spring reverb, naturally extending reverb decay and preserving the detailed character of your signal chain.

Magnetic, Cable-Saving Integration

SurfyPower and SurfyMan connect magnetically, locking together into a neat, unified block. Short jumper cables (included) handle both signal and power between the two, cutting down on clutter and setup time. This smart physical integration makes your amp rig feel as convenient as a single pedal, ideal for players who value a tidy, reliable board.

Portable Power for Guitar and Bass

Despite its compact footprint, the SurfyPower delivers up to 200 watts at 4 ohms total impedance, with two speaker outputs for running one or two cabinets. Whether you are using it for guitar or bass, you get serious headroom in a unit small enough to carry in one hand. The additional DC thru-output lets you power a SurfyBear reverb directly from the SurfyPower, streamlining your power distribution for a lean, travel-friendly setup.

  • Compact 200W FRFR Power Amp Module - Provides up to 200 watts of clean, full-range solid-state power at 4 ohms total impedance, giving you ample volume and headroom while preserving the character of your preamp and pedals.
  • Designed to Pair with SurfyMan Preamp - Optimised to be driven by the SurfyMan, capturing its Brownface-inspired compression and fatness and turning it into a complete amplifier solution without sacrificing tone.
  • Magnetic Connection and Jumper Cables - SurfyPower and SurfyMan snap together magnetically and use short jumper cables (included) to share signal and power, reducing cable mess and making setup fast and intuitive.
  • Dual Speaker Outputs and DC Thru - Two speaker outputs let you connect one or two cabinets, while the DC jack thru-output allows you to power a SurfyBear reverb from the same source, simplifying your live and studio rig.

An admiring but not uncritical portrait of a titan in the rule of law
Format: Hardcover
Professor White delivers an admiring but not uncritical portrait of a man who stood for qualities and principles now in short supply. Jackson was a leading practitioner when other judges were more political, but nevertheless had to speak the language of the rule of law. And his contributions at Nuremberg, haphazardly portrayed in the recent movie, really come through . The United States would help establish a record of epic misdeeds and show that the perpetrators could be punished in a system of justice.

Comprehensive and compelling
Format: Hardcover
With this volume, Mc Coy firmly establishes himself as a historian whose far sightedness only improves with age. A robust story teller, he demonstrates an uncanny ability to ferret the secrets out of arcane documents and records and connect the dots into a compelling narrative. Here he shows how the best and worst of political and military strategy in the US and the other cold war powers shaped the course of global events in profound ways. The lessons for us today simply leap from the page. This is a must read for any thoughtful observer of today’s world.

Brilliant until last two chapters
Format: Kindle
A riveting well researched deep dive into the cold war up through the 1980s. The later chapters following the collapse of the Soviet Union seem to have been hurriedly written and only superficially cover events, particularly so as relates to Russia.
