Perfect for budding chefs or beginner gardeners, these sweet gift boxes supply everything they need to get going! Each is an easy gift that keeps on giving. Start them growing right on your kitchen counter, window sill, or office desk. This earth-friendly gift includes 100% biodegradable materials - our unique recycled plantable paper that we make ourselves, plus our wonderful plant-based biodegradable pots.

You can choose a single gift box with sweet bell pepper seeds in a pretty yellow pepper shape, or choose a set of 4! Each box arrives ready for gift giving tied with ribbon and hang tag to identify the seeds inside. Complete planting instructions are included.

Just add water, sunshine, and some warmth to kickstart them if it's cold.

Each planting kit comes with the following:
- 1 plantable seed paper piece
- 1 eco-friendly biodegradable pot, 2 inch
- expandable soil pellet for growing
- planting instructions
- kraft paper gift box, 2 inches
- natural raffia ribbon
- tag that identifies the seed type

OPTIONAL: Upgrade your set to include our unique plant-based desktop greenhouse biodomes. They help seeds stay damp to help them germinate. We use them to start all our seeds.

{ ABOUT OUR DESKTOP BIODOMES }
These clear cups are made entirely from plants: corn. Each one is 100% compostable and biodegradable. Growing with these cups helps seeds to sprout because they seal in moisture. The top features a vent hole with removable cover so you can let out excess moisture if it becomes too humid inside the biodome. The covers are labeled with the seed type. When you upgrade to the greenhouse biodome, you also receive a larger gift box, for a bigger, more impressive gift that is twice the size. After the seeds have sprouted, you can re-use the biodome for more seed sprouting with another pot and then compost it when done.

{ ABOUT OUR BIODEGRADABLE POTS and PAPER }
These fiber pots are a more environmentally sustainable choice than peat-based paper and plastic pots (peat takes thousands of years to form before it can even be harvested). These plant fiber pots also create a wonderful growing medium that can help seeds germinate and plants to grow. They are made from the fiber between the husk and outer shell of a coconut. Seedlings flourish in them and, because the pots can be planted right in the ground, root system and all, stress to delicate seedlings from being transplanted is reduced.

Growing with a biodegradable pot makes everything easy — just plant the entire pot right in the ground. No plastic waste left over.

The fiber inhibits mold growth and helps plants grow stronger root systems. The roots grow right through the sides of the pots instead of balling up inside a plastic pot. When using coir, plants require less fertilizer and are more resilient to disease. The fiber improves moisture flow and actually helps seeds sprout. All pots are made from 100% peat-free renewable fiber.

The seed paper pieces are made from recycled paper and embedded with the seeds to start the garden. Each one contains a specific seed type. To start the seed paper growing, simply wet it until it is completely damp and press it into damp soil.

Made with eco-friendly packaging that is either recycled or meant to be recycled. It is biodegradable and compostable.

{ PLANTING SEEDS }
All paper is made-to-order to promote freshness. Planting instructions are included. Our plantable paper really does grow - that's a sprout growing right out of the plantable paper in the photo! Growing is simple but not foolproof. The seeds will need proper care, just like other seeds.

Please note, these plantable pieces are handmade, not commercially produced, and so they have all of the subtle irregularities that make handmade items so lovely. Seed inclusions, exact color, and shape vary slightly from piece to piece. Each is unique.

My son didn’t enjoy reading independently before this book
Format: Paperback
My son is 7, in 2nd grade. I got him this book in his Easter basket. Tonight he voluntarily picked it up, read the first chapter, was laughing, and then told me about it!! He’s never voluntarily picked up and read a chapter book before other than a graphic novel ! :)

the world needs more books like this!
Format: Kindle
Wholesome books for young growing readers, yes please! It’s a great mix of funny and sweet that any kid will love. I love seeing the characters grow from the unicorn and dinosaurs books. I love that they are real children too. It’s a great message for kids!

‘Was Nugget’s power guiding me to help people?’ – a fantasy tale to cherish!
Format: Kindle
Diane Alber teams with Ryan Thomas in creating their PURPLE SPACE CHICKENS series, books that focus on inspiring art and creativity in children. The characters (both human and animal) sparkle throughout and the authors open with a taste of the fun to come introducing the boy Bear: ‘My name is Bear…It’s a code name I gave myself. Why a code name? Well, everyone in this book has one. Trust me, it’s better that way. I don’t want you knowing who I really am because the last thing I need is NASA asking a dozen questions - or worse, taking my little friend. But I had to document everything, because this experience is straight out of this world…literally.’ And with that intro we meet little chicken Nugget and the story sails forth with an amazingly entertaining and creative plot. There are many attributes to this series intended for grade school kids – one fine chapter book stories that will definitely continue!

Yes. definitely yes.
Format: Kindle
Rounding up from 4.5. This was a great read and has earned the title of my second favorite sapphic fantasy behind Aurora’s Angel. (Granted, there isn’t a huge amount of competition.) The two main characters are well written and there is plenty of swoon to keep you happy. It’s a slow burn (which I love) and it was done very well. The author keeps you riding on the excitement of what is to be. The longing looks, the subtle touches, the loaded dialogue. It was all great. Each interaction brought the two MCs closer together in such a sweet way. The plot was a good one and keeps you entertained without being overdone or making you too anxious. The book is well written and uses some period language (which I appreciate) without being too pretentious. It is well paced and flows very well from one scene to the next. No boring parts to suffer through. The reason for the missing half star: There were parts that I felt could have used more finesse, or maybe more explanation concerning Della’s insistence on seducing Galeon. The passion was there but it seemed like Della was being reckless at times. But maybe that was the point. I also wished that some of the supporting characters were a little more fleshed out. I wanted to know more about them. It doesn’t get nearly as deep into any aspect the way Auroras Angel did, but I don’t consider that a bad thing per se. It’s just a shorter and lighter read without as much depth. But still enjoyable Overall, this was a great book and I look forward to the future installments. Definitely recommend.

Will definitely be reading the second independent book in this series!
Format: Kindle
A slow burn fantasy novel that showcases the finer instances of romantic gestures and quick stolen glances in between the big showy, epic events. Once I picked up the book I could not put it down until I completed it fully. It was easy to get attached to the characters and I was happy that they didn't try to fit a hetero normative and instead felt to be a truly sapphic/queer relationship. The ending had me at the edge of my seat! While very immersive and easy to get sucked into the world built, I think what would take this to the next level would be more detailed world building. I found I yearned most for this book to get into the nitty gritty of describing and bringing to life the horrific transformations of the witches. I also felt some of the dialogue was a bit too modern which took me out of the older fantasy setting this story was set in for a second. Overall a great book that was easy to allow yourself to get immersed in and tugged around emotionally along with the characters. Loved it!!
