- Mount just above canopy height and angle slightly down — gives you the best view of new growth without parallax distortion.
- Use time-lapse from day one. Reviewing the playback at week's end catches early pest, nutrient, or VPD issues you'd miss day-to-day.
- Keep the MicroSD card formatted and rotate it between grows. 512GB holds plenty, but corrupted cards are the most common reason time-lapse fails.
- For larger tents, run two cameras at opposing corners — coverage of the full canopy plus a backup angle if one view gets blocked.

FAQ
Does the camera work in the dark cycle without disturbing the plants?
Yes. Infrared night vision lets you monitor through lights-off without emitting visible light into the tent, so the photoperiod isn't interrupted.
Is a MicroSD card included?
No. The camera supports MicroSD cards up to 512GB but a card is not supplied. Pick any reputable Class 10 / U3 card for reliable time-lapse capture.
Does it need to be a VGrow tent to work?
No. It works with any tent or grow room. The Wi-Fi connection and Vivosun app integration are independent of the VGrow ecosystem, though it pairs well with VGrow if you're already running one.
What Wi-Fi does it need?
2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Most home networks broadcast both 2.4 and 5 GHz — just make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz band during pairing, then it can roam normally afterward.
Can I monitor more than one tent at once?
Yes. Run multiple cameras through the Vivosun app and switch between feeds — the 2-pack option is the most cost-effective way to cover two tents or two angles in one setup.
