A Classic 16-Inch Kids’ Bike with Training Wheels
The Banwood Classic 16-inch kids’ bike is a first pedal bicycle for children ages 4–7, designed to support the transition from balance biking to independent two-wheel riding. With detachable training wheels, a lightweight frame, and thoughtful safety features, it offers a steady, comfortable ride for children building balance, coordination, and everyday biking skills.
Thoughtful Design & Everyday Rideability
Built with a lightweight alloy frame and smooth-rolling 16-inch wheels, this children’s bicycle is easy to handle while remaining sturdy enough for neighborhood rides and family outings. The adjustable saddle and handlebars allow the bike to grow with your child across multiple seasons, while vegan leather details add comfort and a timeless, understated look.
For skill-building and safety, the bike includes both a back-pedal brake and a front hand brake, helping children learn controlled stopping as they gain experience. Detachable training wheels provide early support and can be removed as balance and coordination develop. A removable wicker basket, kickstand, and chain guard add practical details for everyday riding.
For a complete riding setup, families often pair this bike with a properly fitted helmet, such as Banwood’s classic bike helmets, designed for safe riding from the very first pedal strokes.
Made by Banwood, this classic 16-inch children’s bike reflects the brand’s signature blend of vintage European style, durable materials, and modern safety standards—often chosen for milestone rides meant to be remembered.
