The weBoost Drive Reach Mobile Vehicle Cell Phone Signal Booster 470154 is the newest version of the weBoost Drive 4G-X. Recommended For
The weBoost 470154 Drive Reach is the ideal solution for anyone who travels in very rural areas on a regular basis and needs the most powerful vehicle signal booster available on the market.
How it Works
The weBoost Drive Reach works by having a 4-inch magnet mount antenna on the top of the vehicle receive the outside cell signal and pass it over a cable to a signal amplifier located inside the vehicle. The amplifier boosts the cell signal, and then sends it over another cable to a small inside antenna, which broadcasts the boosted signal to the area of the vehicle that needs better signal.
The entire process also works in reverse, so you get a strong and reliable connection back to the distant cell towers.
Estimated Inside Coverage
The strength of your existing outside signal, measured in the location where you plan to mount the outside antenna, has a direct impact on the amount of inside coverage you'll get from a signal booster. The table below shows how much coverage you may get depending on your outside signal strength:
| Existing Outside Signal Strength | Estimated Inside Coverage |
|---|---|
| Strong (5 Bars) | Most of the vehicle |
| Medium (3-4 Bars) | A few feet from the inside antenna |
| Weak (1-2 Bars) | 18 inches from the inside antenna |
| None (0 Bars) | No Coverage |
Please Note: It is important to remember that there are many factors that impact the size of the inside coverage area, so actual results may vary from these estimates.
Will this Work for my Phone and Carrier?
The weBoost Drive Reach has been designed to work with all cell phones and all carriers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, as well as carriers from some other countries in Latin America, South America, and Australia.
