7 Protection (7iDP) Limited Edition Project 23 Carbon Blast - Full Face Mountain Bike Helmet

Includes Spare Peak

Whether you're racing, getting laps at the bike park, or hitting your local trails the Project 23 Carbon will keep you protected and comfortable. The carbon fiber shell offers shock absorbency and incredible value for money while the 23 big bore vents for no compromise airflow will keep you cool. Best of all, Project 23 Carbon uses our E.R.T (Energy Reduction Technology) slip-plane system.

ERT is a smart foam with two key functions:
1. Research and dialogue with experts indicated that it is absolutely key to reduce the amount of energy that reaches the brain on impact. ERT does this by absorbing greater levels of energy than an EPS liner alone and can reduce the energy transfer to the brain by up to 20%.
2. Test data indicated that ERT also leads to a reduction in the rotational motion of the brain on impact.

Developed at our Prolab facility on Vancouver Island, our Project Line is the result of endless hours spent designing, developing, and testing in some of the harshest and most demanding MTB riding spots on the planet. We’ve tested all Project lines to destruction and are confident that they’ll provide you with the reassurance that when you do have a big spill – we have you covered.

  • E.R.T system reduces impacts causing C.T.E
  • Additional cheek pads and padded liner to customize the fit
  • The most ventilated full-face hardshell helmet on the market
  • Carbon shell using our Project lab layering process to reduce weight as much as possible
  • Easy position visor angle no bolts needed
  • CRV (Crash Release Visor) system allows the visor to release on impact to help reduce rotational forces
  • Injection molded branded trim to protect carbon helmet shell
  • AGION anti-microbial liner helps to keep things smelling fresh
  • TF (Through Flow) Goggle ventilation allows full air flow
  • Quick-release liner for easy washing and cleaning
  • Fidlock magnetic closure
  • Includes set of different thickness pads for resizing and custom fit
    • Every two sizes have the same size EPS and shell.  To make sizing easier, we now include both sets of cheek pads and liner to get the correct fit.  So for example the M/L comes with the size M cheek pads and liner and the size L cheek pads and liner, essentially being a size M and L in one box
  • Supplied with padded pro helmet bag
  • Meets CE, CPSC, AS, ASTM F1952-15 standards
  • Sizes XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL (size large weight 1012g +/-10g)

God Works to Deepen Faith and Enlarge Love
Format: Paperback
What a great little book! I hope you will pick up a copy, read it, and reread it. Don't be put off by its brevity (123 pages including end notes and indices). There is depth here. Powlison rejects a "one-size-fits-all" understanding of sanctification, calling for "multiple mundane examples" of Christian growth--calling, in short, for stories of real people in real circumstances, people in and through whom God works in a great variety of ways to deepen faith (vertical transformation) and enlarge love (horizontal transformation). There are several great "take aways" in this book: seven implications of the cross of Christ, five cooperating elements of sanctification, three features of the stories people tell when they describe how God works in their lives to bring about change, and, on top of that, three great stories of growth in grace. I highly recommend David Powlison's How Does Sanctification Work? It won't take you long to read, and it will repay the time you invest with multiple dividends.

Loving Self and Others Well as We Grow
Format: Kindle
This is an excellent discussion of how we ourselves change/mature and how we can love others well on their unique journey. And unique is stressed here - he's a counselor and well knows that people are unique and deserve and require unique counsel. We all receive love differently, in the specific moment and in the specific stage of life and circumstance. His theology is sound and his writing is oh so very clear and beautiful. I almost weep with joy at some of his deep reflections. His "own story" chapters are very insightful as samples of how he and we move from a place we don't want to be (unloving and selfish) to where we can be (loving other well). It's less of a checklist of how to do this than an observation of what's happened in his life and others. It can give a teachable heart a boost of self-compassion and compassion for others.

Need people less, love them more.
Format: Paperback
I just finished this book. AWESOME!!! I got the book simply because of the title and one phrase that hit me hard. "We have to learn to need people less and love them more." The introduction is such that it gets you excited about what you are about to read. But then, the first few chapters, you almost feel as if you've been deceived. But he's just setting things up. I don't think I've ever read a book that continues to get better as you read it. The best part of the book is the last section of the last chapter. Get it. Read it. You will benefit. I promise. Learn to need people less and love them more as you begin decrease your fear of man and increase your fear of the Lord.

Please Please Read This Book!
Format: Paperback
I bought this recent copy for a teen I know who I felt it would help, but I first read When People Are Big years ago. It is so, so helpful for breaking out of the self-absorption that comes with a variety of human conditions, including victimization, being introverted, neurodivergent, socially fearful, or just plain old-fashioned proud, vain, or narcissistic. Obviously, a book can't do that all by itself, but it can point you on the path to stop fearing people and caring, in the wrong way, what they think of you. The book is well-balanced, not blaming people who have been victimized for the challenges they face, but also not leaving them trapped in pain like so much psychological theory does. The book is written for professing Christians, since ultimately, Jesus is the only Way out of all of this. But if you are not a Christian, I still recommend you try reading it for a refreshing new approach to a familiar problem.
