The Jetter Gold Standard Distortion Pedal is a combination of Jetter's venerable Gold Shift and Helium pedals together with optimized circuitry for improved performance. While both sides can be controlled independently, you can also stack the two for even further destructive distortion. When switched to the Gold side, you have an improved version of the Gold Shift. By tweaking the circuits, it has a slightly softer attack with generous harmonics, but still capable of high gain with a touch of fuzz and increased gain in the lower mids. Interestingly enough it can even emulate a violin's tone, so you don't have to deal with a pesky bow. On the Shift side, you're given a natural, "woody" distortion - an organic low-gain that complements the Gold side. Excellent when played through a neck pickup, like on a strat or telecaster. Controls include Master Volume and Drive knobs, Volume and Gain knobs, a Lean/Rich knob, and Tone control, in addition to the three-way toggle switch between Gold, Shift, and both.
