Original Item: Only One Available. These are incredibly rare excellent condition 2nd Model with Flexible Connection Flieger-Splitterschutzbrillen mit Ultrasin-Gläsern (Aviator Splinter protection goggles with Ultrasin lenses). The goggles are comprised of two eyepieces with black bakelite frames and clear lenses. Each side of the frames are triple-slotted top and bottom for ventilation, with an independent flexible nosepiece, metal loops affixed at either end and housing its original Army green elastic headband strap. The strap features a a metal buckle for length adjustment. They do not look to have ever been issued, and the original band is still relatively stretchy. There has been some deformation of the frames due to age and shrinkage, but the lenses are still completely intact.
The goggles comes in their black-painted steel tin of issue, magnetic, embossed with:

The tin has some minor denting and some minor paint wear and oxidation, but is otherwise it is in excellent condition and complete with the cap. The interior even contains the original, like new, brown paper lining!
These are iconic pilot goggles for German Luftwaffe pilots and finding a set in unissued condition is just incredible. Ready to display!
