The Gritter’s performance foundation lies in its long-fiber carbon composite plate, engineered by Giro to deliver optimal stiffness with forefoot flex specifically tuned to handle hike-a-bike sections without compromising power transfer during pedaling. This carbon plate is co-molded directly with Giro’s proprietary Sensor rubber outsole, creating a permanent, glue-less bond that ensures lightweight construction and lasting durability.
