Love it or hate it, the Boss HM-2 is one of the most iconic sounding distortions in heavy music. Tons of builders have cloned the circuit and attempted to capture the "lightning in a bottle" fully dimed Heavy Metal sound, and make their own tweaks to it. Many have tried and failed to nail the original black label MIJ HM-2's grinding midrange and aggressive distortion, but the Left Hand Wrath Deluxe from Lone Wolf Audio is the end-all-be-all of death metal stompboxes.

Everyone knows the HM-2's best setting. Every knob at 10. But the Left Hand Wrath is loaded with features that allow you to tweak the distortion and tone to your heart's content while still retaining that classic grind. A sweepable midrange, presence control, and 6-way frequency range rotary toggle allow you to dial in the perfect chainsaw to suit your rig, playing style, and personal taste. Additionally, it features a secondary footswitch to switch between classic distortion and a more aggressive modern setting.

But that's not all! The deluxe version of the Left Hand Wrath also features a clean blend control so you can blend the pedal's distortion with your clean guitar signal. Perfect for running into the gain channel on your amp to blend just a little bit of grind into your amp's tube distortion. It also works great for bass, so you can retain a solid low end.

Perfect Gift for Coffee-Loving (or Hot Cocoa) People
If you're looking for a solid gift for your significant other and don't quite know the difference between a milk frother and a milk steamer yet (like me three days before), this is the one to get because it does both! My girlfriend is a wonderful barista and had been wanting a milk steamer for a while. A lot of options out there are incredibly expensive and difficult to wash, but this one was a fantastic price for such a great appliance. Here are some of the specs: For power, blending power is amazing, but just note that it froths a lot, like a lot. You'll get about a 3:1 froth-to-milk ratio at the max setting, and a 1:1 ratio at even at the lowest setting. For temperature, steamer gets the milk perfectly warm and hot for whatever you feel like, whether lattes or hot chocolate. For cleaning, some reviewers also mentioned having trouble cleaning the small hole at the bottom of the frothing whisk. But other than that, the frothing whisk is actually magnetic. You can just pop it off and attach it to the side of the cup while washing, which is super convenient. Overall, if you are missing a milk steamer in your kitchen setup to heat up milk properly or need a gift for a coffee enthusiastic friend or significant other, this is definitely worth the money!

I have used it often, basically daily. I love how it has a magnet stirrer and therefore is quiet. I like the stainless steel aspect. It does heat up well. It can store two regular mugs of beverage or maybe 3-4 mugs of froth. It is lightweight but doesn’t feel cheaply made- good enough quality. The froth is great- I have no complaints. I had to learn the hard way that non-homogenized milk gets grainy- weird and icky. I wish it was a little more frothy on the matcha side of things but I still use it. Also, I wish for things like hot chocolate that it got hotter. It goes to 160 on the machine but it doesn’t feel that hot when you drink it. I haven’t measured the temperature of the drink yet but it isn’t hot hot.
