Die Masterpiece ist bei Bruchfestigkeitstests um mehr als 40 % stärker als die stärksten Sattelstützen-Produkte auf dem Markt. Masterpiece-Stützen wiegen ungefähr 40 g weniger als Elite-Stützen derselben Größe. Diese Gewichtsreduzierung wird erreicht, während die Stärke und Haltbarkeit, die von einer Thomson-Sattelstütze erwartet werden, erhalten bleiben. Thomson gelingt diese Gewichtsreduzierung durch ein ganzheitliches Bearbeiten des Rohlings, wobei der ovale Innendurchmesser beibehalten wird. Wir sind durch Zerspannen dazu in der Lage, engere Toleranzen zu halten als es nur durch Extrusion allein möglich wäre. Das Zerspannen eines ohnehin schon schönen Designs macht aus der Masterpiece-Sattelstütze ein Kunstwerk.

Das Sattelstütz-Rohr und der Kopf der Thomson-Masterpiece-Sattelstütze sind ganzheitlich aus einem Stück Hochfestigkeitsaluminium der Serie 7000 gearbeitet. Der Kopf ist nicht aufgedrückt oder verklebt. Dies macht überragende Stärke und minimales Gewicht möglich.
Wir haben eine lange 41 mm Sitzschienen-Klemmlänge. Dies trägt dazu bei, dass bei Stoßbelastungen ein Verbiegen der Sitzschiene verhindert wird. Die meisten anderen Sattelstützen besitzen Klemmlängen, die mindestens 1,3 cm kürzer sind als unsere Klemmlänge.
Das Design der Thomson-Masterpiece-Sattelstütze schließt eine Biegesicherung ein, um katastrophale Defekte zu verhindern. Alle konkurrierenden Sattelstützen, die wir getestet haben, versagten bei den Sitz- und Klemmenkomponenten vollkommen, und mitunter flogen einige Teile des Rohres und des Kopfes in alle Richtungen.
Die Thomson-Masterpiece-Sattelstütze besitzt eine Klemme, einen Kopf und ein Oberrohr, die stark genug sind, um 441 Nm an Drehkraft zu widerstehen. Das Rohr wird bei circa 312 Nm Drehkraft anfangen nachzugeben und sich an der Sattelklemme zu verbiegen. Bei schweren Stößen wird die Thomson-Sattelstütze sich leicht verbiegen, es dem Fahrer jedoch ermöglichen, anzuhalten oder die Fahrt fortzuführen.
Alle Teile der Masterpiece-Sattelstütze können nicht verloren gehen und können mit Leichtigkeit und ohne Abbauen an einem Sitz angebracht werden.

Klemmen von sehr niedrigem Profil bedeuten keine Sitzbeeinträchtigung, da sich die Überwurfmuttern unten zwischen den Sitzschienen befinden.

Sleek look and perfect fit, but the stand stability needs a tweak
Color: A-Abyss Blue
I purchased the TiMOVO case in Abyss Blue for my iPad, specifically looking for something that offered protection without adding the bulk of a heavy-duty rugged case. After using it for a week, I think it is a very strong contender for the price, though there is one specific design element that keeps it from being a perfect 5-star product.
The Positives:
Precision Fit: The shell snaps on with a very satisfying click. The cutouts for the speakers and USB-C port are perfectly centered. Crucially, the cutout for the Touch ID power button provides ample room for my finger to unlock the device instantly—a problem I’ve had with other cases that are too thick around the button. The pen holder is also great.
Aesthetics: The "Abyss Blue" is a sophisticated, muted navy that looks professional. I really appreciate the hard translucent back; it’s a nice touch that allows the Apple logo to show through while resisting fingerprints much better than clear glossy plastic.
Auto Wake/Sleep: This functions exactly as it should. The magnets are strong enough to keep the cover closed when I toss it in my bag, so I haven’t had any issues with battery drain.
Where it falls short (Why 4 Stars): While the materials are good, the trifold stand mechanism could be improved. When folded into the "viewing" (upright) position, the magnets holding the triangle shape aren't quite strong enough. If I tap the screen too enthusiastically while selecting a movie, the stand occasionally collapses.
Additionally, while the hard back looks great, it is a bit slippery. A slight rubberized coating on the translucent polycarbonate would make holding the iPad one-handed much more secure.
Verdict: If you want a slim, lightweight case that looks premium and protects against scratches, this is an excellent choice. However, if you do a lot of heavy tapping or drawing while the iPad is propped up, you might find the stand stability slightly lacking.

Really happy with this case so far. It fits the iPad perfectly and all the buttons and camera openings line up like they should. The case feels lightweight but still protective, and the stand feature works well for watching videos or typing. The material has a nice grip so it’s not slippery in your hands.
