As it matures, it tends to shed its stem, leaving only the apical rosettes.
It produces small, yellow flowers.
It prefers a light and well-draining substrate. Water when the substrate is dry, avoiding water stagnation.
It prefers excellent light exposure, especially to maintain its vivid coloration.
In winter, due to low light, the Aeonium may temporarily turn green, then regain its vivid black in spring.
