Unlock Your Full Kiteboarding Potential - Join Our Intensive Camps

Mini Camp July 6

July 18 to July 20

August 1 to August 3

Tired of slow progress from scattered lessons? These kiteboarding camps are designed for those who are ready to commit and become truly independent riders.

Typical kite lessons run for just 2 hours a day, which can stretch your learning curve for months or years! From my experience, the riders that learn fastest are the ones who can dedicate several consecutive days to nothing but kiteboarding.

Our camps are structured around exactly that. Over three SOLID days, you'll build a solid foundation of independence and confidence on the water. Once you're comfortable, we’ll tailor the experience to your goals. Whether experiencing your first rides, jumping higher, riding strapless, learning to foil, or simply progressing faster in a supportive, high stoke environment.

Conditions to Progress

Sherman Island is one of the best kiteboarding locations in California.  It usually has warm weather and consistant winds. Many Bay Area kiters enjoy sessioning here, but sometimes it can be crowded.
Don't worry, we will be taking you to an island that is away from the crowds and has plenty of room to practice. Perfect to try your first body drags, riding strapless, or jumping in the air. Maybe at the end of your three days you will do a downwinder and land your own kite at Sherman Island launch site.

Expert Coaching

Brandon has been coaching kiteboarding for over 17 years. His passion is to encourage people to try new things and help them overcome any obstacle.

Brando believes anyone can kiteboard! The key ingredients are persistence and being open to new experiences.

What is included

  • Sherman Island Parking pass for the length of your camp

  • Our famous Jetski assisted coaching with radio helmets

  • Long kiteboarding sessions

  • Unlimited equipment use

  • Photos and Videos

  • Snacks and Water

  • Swag from brands

  • Adventure and lasting memories

Who will be joining us?

You'll be surrounded by people who share the same thrill and passion for the water. Whether you're just starting out or already ripping, the supportive and stoke-filled vibe of the campe will push your kiteboarding to the next level. All skills levels are welcome, what matters most is your love to get out there, take chances, and don't be afraid to get wet!

How to arrive to Sherman Island

Sherman Island is located about 1 hour from San Francisco or Oakland.

4800 W Sherman Island Rd, Rio Vista, CA 94571

Once you enter the park. Find the boat ramp at the southern most point of the park. We'll be there with the gear and the jetskis.

Daily Schedule

Our schedule depends on the weather conditions and everyone’s rhythm. The wind calls the day. We will like to start at 10 am but sometimes we might have to start and end later in the day because the wind might arrive late. Don't worry... we'll plan on kiteboarding as much as possible. Here is an example of a day…

9 AM - Arrive at Sherman Island to get setup

10 AM to 12:30 - First Kite session for the Day

12:30 to 1:30 PM - Lunch Break

1:30 to 4 PM - Second Kite session for the Day

5 PM - Wrap up and dismissal

What do you need to bring

  • Personal Wetsuit*
  • Water shoes or sandels
  • Personal Harness will be a plus
  • Sunglasses, Hat, Sunscreen, and reusable water bottle

* Contact us if you don't have gear. We will help find you a rental or borrow a used wetsuit.

No Wind Activities

Sometimes mother-nature doesn’t want to cooperate. It's the nature of kiteboarding. Luckily we have some activities that we can do without the wind.

  • Wakeboarding - to build board skills
  • Technical kiteboarding classroom (Kite repairs, bar tuning, rules of the road, board shapes, and kite shapes, etc…)
  • Efoil Sessions - to introduce a new way to enjoy the water

Small Print...

  • We cannot guarantee the wind, but will do our best to give you a great experiene. We may sometimes start earlier or end later to find the best conditions. We will descuse the plan the following day and revisit the plan in the morning. Possible start times are... 9 AM or 12 Noon.

  • Because this camp is very close to the bay area, we will not be providing accommodations. If you are traveling from afar, then we sugguest booking a hotel, Airbnb, or motel nearby.

  • In the unlikely event that your camp has to be cancelled by KGB Kiteboarding, you will receive a refund of the value of your booked camp.

  • If you fail to show up at the scheduled time of your camp, we will try our best to accommidate you. We might have to pick you up during a break. The amount of time that you are late will be deducted from the camp time.

  • (Cancelations under 7 days are Non-refundable )

  • If you have any allergies or need any special care for something, please discuse this with the instructor before your camp.

We are very excited about this camp. We have always done travel camps to exotic areas, but never a local camp. These camps will be for those that want to practice in the area where they'll kiteboarding themselves! We hope to hear from you soon! Send it!

Great quality and price
Color: Black, Size: without USB
The arm needed some additional tightening, but it’s holding my 32 in monitor perfectly. Great stability and mobility. The cable organizer is a bit awkward, but works well enough. I’ll probably stick with this brand in the future; the cost vs quality is amazing.

Great stand for the price!
Size: Quad, Style: Glass Free Stand, Size: Quad, Style: Glass Free Stand
It is a great stand. I was able to put everything together myself. Just wanted to point out a couple of things here. I have 2, 27" flat montors and 2, 37" curved monitors. Now the description says it will go up to 27", but I was able to get the 37" ones on this stand also. You can put them side by side - they will fit, but make sure you don't go over the weight limit, so for mine, to be sure I didn't exceed the weight limit, I have the bottom of them sitting on the and foot of the frame itself. You will not be able to angle them inwards toward yourself if you have 37" curved monitors. This is what I was hoping to do I just needed an extra inch on each side to move them out, for now I will just leave them side by side. For assembly, because I was doing this by myself, I found it easiest to leave all the moveable parts loose and lay the monitors out on the floor face down in the position I wanted them in (NO CABLES). Then I took the mostly assembled frame and adjusted it to my monitors. I put the plates on the monitors and then slid the appropriate piece of the frame onto each plate, still leaving most parts slightly loose (giving myself just enough play to move things around when I stood it up). I then stood the frame up and firmed down all the fittings once I got everything where I wanted it. I then lifted the entire stand with monitors up onto my desk and then began plugging in all the cables and cords. I really like the stand and it is a great value for the price. It is very sturdy with my setup. I just wish it had about an extra inch on at least the bottom two arms, but overall, definitely a great stand. (sorry for the bad photo but these are my work monitors and I could not show what was on the screens)

Perfect! Level monitors, small footprint!
Size: Dual, Style: Glass Free Stand, Size: Dual, Style: Glass Free Stand
Perfect! This was the 3rd monitor stand I purchased this month. The others either were too bulky of a base and/or I could never get the monitors level! This is perfect! Was easy to assemble and it’s easy to move them & adjust tilt & spacing.

Sturdy with good finish
Size: Dual, Style: Glass Free Stand
Easy to set up. Good finish. Sturdy. Using 2 x 27" monitors . A bit difficult to align them seamlessly. Suggest getting monitor alignment aids together with this.

The best Quad Monitor Mount under $100
Size: Quad, Style: Glass Free Stand
Great monitor stand. I got the Quad. It's base is nice and you can put stuff on it unlike the other popular quad mount that is V shaped. You can get the monitors 98% aligned, then use gaffers tape for the last 1% (99% perfect, slight gaps that I couldn't fill). Strong, sturdy, tempered glass base, metal pole. And cheap price. This is the one to get for a quad setup. I stripped the bolt on the VESA monitor mount bracket and the seller took care of me. No worries.
