Classic Distortion with Limited-edition AestheticsThe BOSS 50th-anniversary DS-1 Distortion arms you with the same twin-diode attack and high-octane grind favored by countless guitarists since 1978. The DS-1 continues to be a pedalboard staple to this day, thanks to a hard-edged, aggressive sound that somehow remains clear — even at max distortion settings. This stompbox is a sure fit for any genre of music, fuels heavy rhythms and cutting solos with equal assurance, and performs admirably as a boost in front of an already distorted amp. The BOSS 50th-anniversary DS-1 Distortion comes with special packaging and an eye-catching aesthetic commemorating the company's golden anniversary.
Still The BOSS at 50
Founded in 1973, BOSS has shaped the sound of the electric guitar for 50 years. The BOSS limited-edition 50th-anniversary DS-1 Distortion pays tribute to this five-decade milestone with a metallic finish, a "50th" logo and limited-edition serial on the side of the pedal, and an additional logo printed on the lid of the box. You'll find countless BOSS devotees here at Sweetwater, and we're delighted to celebrate this momentous achievement alongside one of our valued industry partners.
