This is one of our favorite versatile fun plants!
Dichondra is now used in many ground cover situations where normal grasses may not do as well. It grows very close to the ground, (usually not over 2 inches tall) with a creeping growth habit. It has a bright green color, establishes a thick dense carpet look, and a very good soft feel underfoot. When used in lawn situations it can be mowed for an even, smooth finish but should not need it.
It will cascade about 3 feet from your baskets, window boxes, or other containers, but it will also form a nicely domed shape that fills any available space, or crack beautifully!
And to top it all off, it is a popular ingredient in Traditional Chinese Medicine blends. Diuretic, febrifuge and styptic. The whole plant is used for treating diarrhea.
It is a fast growing perennial in warmer climates and a annual in frost heavy zones. It is also highly resistant to diseases and will grow in partial shade to full sun. The seed we offer is coated with a clay coating to make the seed easier to spread as well as help the seed retain water which aids in germination. The first leaves after germination will be long and narrow and will not look like dichondra in the beginning. Sow much like normal grass seed. USDA Zones: 8 - 11

The really work!

Fabulously bizarre and effective
These silicone socks have to be the strangest item I have ever ordered from Amazon. However strange they are, I was pleasantly surprised with them.
My order came with two pairs, and I took one pair out to wash before use. I laughed at handling them then because they were a cross between hospital socks and leftover mannequin skin…trippy.
The socks dried fast, so I put on foot lotion and put the socks on. The socks are beige skin tones that cover the entire foot up to the ankle, basically booties.
The silicone is very soft and makes putting on and taking off the socks easy. They are also surprisingly easy to walk around in because the bottoms have grips, again, like hospital socks. I walked on tile, hardwood, and carpet with no slipping. The booties also stayed in place with no issues.
I was concerned my feet would sweat, but that didn't happen. I was able to wear them for 3 hours without sweaty feet.
When I took them off, my feet were a lot more soft than before or if I had used regular socks. For reference, my feet are not terrible, but the skin around my toes is dry and peeling from my picking(gross, I know).
The socks I got are a size large, which worried me because they are big, but the site said for my shoe size (9) that's what I should order, and they were right. They are the perfect size and stretchy for room.
I can't believe how cool and well-thought-out these socks are, on top of working. Honestly, these are among the top 20 favorite items I've ordered from Amazon. They may look incredibly strange, and they are, but they work wonders.

So excited for results, feels like it’s working!

First time trying them right now as delivered today. Originally thought was supposed to wear all night but glad to find out 30 minutes just because my dog sleeps on my feet over my sheets! These silicone socks feel great and I trim my toe nails short enough they seem very durable and unlikely to rip like the pic review shows. I am confident my feet and heels will much smoother after first time wearing! I do have acrylic nails so I will be careful
Putting the silicone socks on and off. Just as easy as the video the spread the lotion inside the socks and rub it around, mess free!!
