Mammoth Juiced Intake Kit EC – Balanced Airflow for Healthier, More Stable Grows

The Mammoth Juiced EC Intake Kit gives you controlled, consistent airflow to stabilise your grow room environment.

By feeding in clean, filtered air at a steady rate, it helps maintain ideal negative pressure, supports carbon filter efficiency, and keeps temperature and humidity balanced.

Each kit comes complete with a high-performance Mammoth Juiced EC Inline Fan, 5 m of Vortex Combi Ducting, and a duct clip, everything you need for a professional active intake setup.

  • Balances pressure; stops tent walls pulling in and keeps extraction running efficiently
  • Feeds fresh air; delivers oxygen-rich, CO₂-renewed air to improve plant metabolism and strength
  • EC motor technology; cool, quiet, and energy-efficient with 0–100 % variable speed control
  • Quick installation; lightweight aluminium fan housing with flexible Combi ducting for easy placement
  • Complete package; includes fan, 5 m ducting, and duct clip – ready to fit straight from the box

Why Add an Active Intake?

Strong extraction can create excess negative pressure, causing tent walls to cave in and airflow to drop.

An active intake introduces a controlled flow of cooler, oxygenated air to match your extraction rate. This keeps VPD and CO₂ levels stable, reduces temperature swings, and helps maintain ideal growing conditions across the canopy.

Choosing the Right Size

Your intake should always move slightly less air than your extraction to keep odours sealed and pressure balanced. As a guide, use an intake fan one size smaller than your extractor:

  • 4 in extraction = 4 in intake (run at 50–70 %)
  • 5 in extraction = 4 in intake
  • 6 in extraction = 5 in intake
  • 8 in extraction = 6 in intake
  • 10 in extraction = 8 in intake

If you’re using long duct runs or an intake filter, increase intake speed slightly to offset resistance and keep pressure stable.

How to Set Up

  1. Mount the fan: Fit the Mammoth Juiced EC Fan to a lower tent port, facing inward.
  2. Attach ducting: Connect the 5m Vortex Combi Ducting to draw fresh air from a cooler source.
  3. Secure connections: Use the supplied duct clip to seal joints tightly and prevent air loss.
  4. Adjust speed: Start at 30–50 % power, fine-tuning until the tent walls sit slightly inward for ideal negative pressure.

Kit Options

  • 4 in (100 mm): up to 275 m³/h
  • 5 in (125 mm): up to 280 m³/h
  • 6 in (150 mm): up to 594 m³/h
  • 8 in (200 mm): up to 1205 m³/h
  • 10 in (250 mm): up to 1808 m³/h

What’s in the Box

  • Mammoth Juiced EC Inline Fan; integrated EC motor with built-in variable speed control
  • 5 m Vortex Combi Ducting; multi-layer aluminium/polyester, light-tight and durable
  • Duct Clip; secure, easy-fit connector

Technical Specification

  • Motor Type: EC (Electronically Commutated) with 0–100 % speed dial
  • Construction: Lightweight aluminium housing
  • Ducting Length: 5 m
  • Application: Active intake for tents and small grow rooms
  • Power: UK plug fitted – ready to use

Top Tip: Aim for a gentle inward draw on the tent walls – that’s the sign your extraction is stronger than your intake and your carbon filter is sealing efficiently. If the tent walls pull in too much, increase intake speed slightly.

They aren't using crappy malware, so if you're InfoSec program is built ...
Format: Paperback
Bought yesterday, can't put it down -- will reread it again this week. This book is a solid gold mine on pulling our InfoSec heads out of our InfoSec tailpipes and focusing on the modes and methods our real adversaries are using. (Pro Tip: They aren't using crappy malware, so if you're InfoSec program is built on stopping malware you should be concerned.) We all hear about the social engineering component to an effective attack, but to see it so effectively used over and over again with Wil's case studies really drives home the point. If you're involved in either the management of an Information Security program, or involved in the more tactical parts of penetration testing, I'd put this on your short list of books to read this year. I hope he does a follow-up.

A well-written and updated book that covers Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) in detail.
Format: Paperback
The author truly knows his art. As a penetration tester, I feel that many books just re-hash the same old material and tools. This book covers much more than just pentesting, it covers APT and gives realistic scenarios and tools that actually work. This is a book for everyone who works offensive and defensive security because it covers how real malicious actors approach companies and steal their critical data.

Excellent Red Team InfoSec Book
Format: Paperback
One of the better books on the market on real penetration testing and creating advanced persistent threats. Great coding examples/strategies and how to think outside the box when it comes to attacking systems/companies. Elite guys like Wil Allsopp create their own custom tools all the time for real penetration testing. This is what nation-state actors are doing. Highly recommended.

Buy,buy,buy
Format: Kindle
Buy this rather than all the other books out there. I have a whole library full, and I do mean full, and this is one of the very few really great ones. A wonderful surprise as I was reading another book that got high praise and it is really sorry, a waste of money.

👍👍
Format: Board book
I absolutely love all of these books. I have them all at my childcare center. We use them like textbooks: social skills knowledge for tots 101 . Positively framed, the pictures are relatable and the words are intentional and direct.
