The VS Audio Royal Flush is built around a chassis that will not go unnoticed! Indeed, it adopts a graphic that could not be more visual, symbolizing what the two distinct channels of the pedal offer you. A wise channel, with soft sounds on the right and a more edgy channel on the left.

In terms of controls, the two slices are totally independent, so they benefit from a Vol, Gain and Tone for each of them. Each channel can be activated separately and we can stack the two together to get more gain. Inside it's high-end PCB, with perfect assembly and soldering. All powered by 9V 25mA.

To best use the VS Audio Royal Flush, a nice clean channel with headroom will be most recommended. Stratocaster in hand, we start with the right channel. This offers you a light overdrive, felted, never aggressive, with a very nice transparency and an excellent dynamics. It acts as a layer on your sound and lets your playing express itself. It breathes. We have a big dynamic, a straight attack that works just as well with the single coil as with the humbucker. Very significant thing, the Tone can be used over the entire race. As for the left channel, it brings an undeniable Plexi touch. It's a bit more compressed, with a bit more fluidity and gain. Perfect for playing pop and blues. But it is by stacking the two channels that the Royal Flush is revealed. It's twisting, it's rich, we're in the middle of Back In Black with the gain at 1:00 p.m. and we're swimming in Appetite For Destruction with the gain fully on both channels. You get a complex drive, full of harmonics, with a fairly forward mid on the right channel to cut through the mix, and a denser low end on the left channel to complement it perfectly. With both channels engaged the Royal Flush perfectly simulates an additional amp channel. It does not sound pedal, and that's what is apprciable!
