The Tarp
This minimalist tarp tapers in width to provide more coverage where you need it and less where you don't. The curved ridge and edges produce a taut, wind-shedding, pitch in the classic a-frame configuration.

Tie-outs
Perimeter tie-outs are located at each end of the ridge (2), the corners (4), and the midpoints of each side (2). There are hang loops located at each end of the ridge (2), the middle of the ridge (1), about 12" in on the ridge at the head end (1), and about 10" in on the ridge at the narrow end (1).
There is an additional tie-out (1) on the ridge about 10" in from the narrow end to allow the option to pitch with an improvised rear beak. To make the beak, move the guyline from the rear apex to the shock cord loop on the ridge tie-out. We recommend using a fastline clip (included in the optional rigging kit). Stake out the rear corners so the rear edge is pulled taut between the corners.

Rigging
An optional rigging kit is available for those who wish to set up their tarp per our recommendations.
The kit comes with the following items:
- 30 ft of 1.8mm UHMWPE core guyline with reflective tracer
- 7 x 10mm Tensionlock guyline tensioners
- 1 x Fastline clip
- 2 x Guyline Grommets
Installation:
- Cut your guylines to the lengths shown below.
- Front corners: 40" x 2
- Rear corners: 30" x 2
- Front apex: 96" x 1
- Rear apex: 80" x 1
- Midpoints: 20" x 2
- Install the tensioners using a girth hitch (see images below). Install at all perimeter tie-outs except the rear apex
- Clip the fastline clip to the rear apex.
- Install guylines into the tensioners:
- Tie a loop in one end of each guyline. We prefer to use a bowline knot.
- Thread the guylines through the tensioners as shown in the photos below. For the two guylines that attach to the ridgeline, slip a grommet onto the guyline prior to threading it through the tensioner.
- Tie a knot in the untied end of each guyline. We use a simple overhand knot.

Works great, easy assembly and no issues!
Using the weedeater for edging was too hard, so I purchased this. It works great! It was easy to assemble and easy to use. My lines are perfect, but the size, durability, and power of this gem get the job done, and it's lightweight enough that I can easily maneuver it around the yard. I chose a corded one so I don't have to deal with battery life or charging.

Great Edger for the Price
I’ve had no issues at all with this lawn edger. For the price point and the amount of edging I need to do, it works great. It has plenty of power and gets the job done cleanly. Just make sure you have a long enough extension cord for your yard or projects. Overall, no complaints—solid product and an easy 5 stars from me.

The Black and Decker BESTA510 is a KEEPER plus it's made in the USA 🇺🇲

Well folks🙂 I have to tell you this has been a nice weed eater that cuts really good and it's LIGHTWEIGHT and it's powerful👍 and at a PRICE that can't be beat...it's way more powerful than some battery and electric weed eaters that I have.. like a Ryobi... And supposedly a commercial grade Ryobi $200 😤..
Anyway 🙂 This electric weed eater is very good and I'll take that PEPSI challenge any day 😀 when comparing it to some other weed eaters PLUS it doesn't USE LINE like other electric weed eaters that I've used.. at least that's been my experience..
This is a KEEPER weed eater from Black & Decker👍....it handles tall grass and even some hedge... though it probably shouldn't be used for hedge but it's TOUGH 😀 and better than any battery weed eater I used especially with the power and cutting...
The power alone and convenience of NOT rushing through the job with the battery pack and charging ect imo is worth the cord drag 🙂... and much better than a battery weed eater or other electric weed eaters..
This just cuts better 👍... With MORE power consistently and constantly through the whole job...
So in conclusion 🙂 the Black & Decker BESTA510 weed eater in my opinion is a KEEPER and this model has been around for a while which speaks for itself not to mention Black & Decker has been around for years.... This weed eater OVERALL (pound for pound ) is a solid performer with many mostly liking this weed eater and Black & Decker products overall..

No problems all the way to the end of the spool
Style: String Trimmer
I had an old Greenworks string trimmer that I found in the basement after I moved into my new home. Maybe it was just old, but the auto-feed didn't work well, the line was always running out, and I spent more time rewinding the spool than cutting down weeds. I had almost lost my faith in string trimmers entirely. You can spend $300 on one, but how much better are they? I didn't know. This Black & Decker was only $50, and although it's corded, my roommate convinced me it was worth not having to do the dance of recharging batteries, plus having full 110v power. Some (easy) assembly required out of the box, and this thing was basically plug & play. I did read through the owner's manual first, which gave amateur me some confidence through a few helpful tips. I use it not only for cutting down weeds, but also for cleaning out weeds from the cracks in my sidewalk, and the edger wheel is very helpful for that. More importantly, the line had no problems all the way to the end of the spool. Faith restored, there are good string trimmers in the world.
That being said, be aware that the line it comes with isn't very long. My lawn is medium-size, and it ran out about halfway through. The Black & Decker replacement spools are $10 / 30 ft (much longer), but it goes through line, so this could really add up. Replacing the spool was easy, and I was able to finish my lawn with plenty line to spare. A quick search on Amazon reveals off brand spools at $15 / 12-pack. I haven't tested them yet, but the price difference is so great that I'm going to give them a chance.

Handy until I can purchase a mower

I've used this thing heavily 3 times now. I need a mower but haven't had the spare money for one yet so this is what I'm using! My yard is just under 1 acre. I'ma list some pros and cons I've noticed in my good use..
Pros: it works.. really well! As you can see I live in Florida so grass grows super fast in our rainy season if I slack just 2 weeks oh my.. the power is strong, it's easy to work. Auto feed is a big help. I bought extra when I made this purchase I can go through about 1-2 rolls throughout the whole yard.
Cons: the wire. It gets in the way so much and my large yard I use a 200 ft cord but that's not always enough so I can't complete my job completely but enough I'm happy with. When the auto feed is low i noticed it constantly over feeds the line and that honestly hurts sometimes! It's and easy fix but after doing it 5 times you're over it. Id just put a new one on but I feel that's just a waste.
In the future I will be replacing mine to get rid of the wire.
