The SRM x Q36.5 X-Power Direct pedal is a colored die-cast aluminum pedal weighing 311 g per set (including cleat and screws). Its innovation lies in extending the pedal body to reposition the positive element of the cleat (and related mechanical components) behind the direct contact point between shoe and pedal, allowing a 6 mm reduction in the space between shoe and pedal axle compared to existing market-leading systems (Shimano) and an increase in the contact surface (1,653 mm²) between shoe and pedal. The cleat, thanks to the repositioning of the positive element, requires an additional hole in the shoe sole, currently exclusive to Q36.5's Unique Pro shoes.
