Musa Tropicana, or Banana Plant, is a dwarf banana species suitable for indoor living spaces. Its foliage grows symmetrically with paddle-shaped large green leaves, adding a tropical vibe to your home and office.

Banana Tree is easy to care for and can filter airborne toxins, making it an ideal houseplant.

Musa Tropicana grows best under bright indirect sunlight, but it can adapt to medium light conditions. It is ideal to give this plant a few hours of sunlight a day. Banana Tree tolerates some direct sunlight, but scorching sun might burn its leaves.
This plant has a medium watering need. Check the soil twice per week and only water when the top 2" of the soil is dry to the touch. Drain well after each watering to prevent root rot. Water less in the winter.
The best soil for this plant is well-drained, rocky potting soil.
This plant loves warm, humid environments and grows best in temperatures between 75°F-85°F. It will stop growing when the temperature falls below 55°F. This plant needs a high humidity level (at least 50%)so mist this plant frequently and use a humidifier when the room environment is dry.
This plant should be fertilized twice a month during the growing season (spring/summer) with diluted houseplant fertilizer.

Little Golden Books Are Wonderful

These books have been, and continue to be, the best books ever written for children. They teach life lessons in such a genteel way and the artwork is wonderful. I associate these books with my wonderful childhood. My mom read them to me all the time. I was glad I could purchase them as gifts to give to my friend so she could read them to her grandchild!

For Little Animal Lovers
Format: Hardcover
Adorable. Sweet little illustrations about each creature. The Kiddo's favorite page is the giraffe, because even a baby giraffe is so tall he has to kind of smoosh down to fit on the page of a book!
There is also a nice little story/nugget of information on each animal, so as they get older they still like to read the book because it is about behavior and they like to add more details!
A classic Little Golden Book, always great value.

Brings back good memories
Format: Hardcover
this was my favorite book when I was young (born in 1957). It was read over and over to me by my great aunt whom I used to spend
much time with and I credit it with forming my deep and abiding love for all animals. I purchased 3 copies to give to my grandchildren (ages 11 weeks to 16 months)for Christmas. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.
