Dump Truck Tarp Systems are a worthy investment for both dump trucks and dump trailers. Electric tarp systems simplify the tarping process, saving you time and money. Please note: This model is designed for dump beds less than 24' long. This is a complete bolt-on kit (no welding required).

With an electric dump truck tarp system, you can cover and uncover a load in seconds, with the turn of a switch, and from the comfort and safety of the ground or your cab! This tarp system features heavy-duty rustproof aluminum tarp arms that mount to each side of your dump body, with a cross tube connecting the arms over the dump box. Each side has springs that push the arms towards the rear of the dump box. The included Tarp Motor turns the axle, which is mounted behind or above the cab, to spool up the tarp and pull the tarp arms back to the front of the dump body.

An auto tarp kit comes with everything you need for a quick and easy installation. Any of the tarp system hardware can be cut down to fit dump bed lengths from 8' to 24', making it one of the most versatile and economical dump truck tarp systems on the market.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR A TARP

For tarp size, please measure inside to inside of where axle/motor will be mounted, subtract 4" and that will be your width. For length, please measure from where the axle will be to the tailgate, then add 2'.

Different mounting mechanism than photos

I'm going to start off this review by stating that the mounting mechanism used on the Shelf is different than the one shown in the photo. In the photo, it shows a single bar which would have made the Shelf easier to level however, the product I received has two separate bars which means I have to be extra careful holding a level against the paper. Stencil. The reason I chose this product over different listings was because for a dollar or two more its photo showed a single bar. Now for the pros and cons: Pros: Accurate measurement. Shelf appears to be actual wood! The photos made it looks like a veneer, which it is not. Easy to install. Includes good instructions. Seems like it can hold items fairly well. Cons: The mounting hardware for drywall pretty flimsy, and I stripped out some of the drywall anchors during install. They still worked, but it was annoying to finish inserting them. The shelf doesn't sit fully flush to the wall from factory as the screws included make it protrude slightly. I can fix this with my dremel, However, This could have been solved from the factory by making the cavity slightly deeper. As mentioned above in my main detractor, it is a two bar mounting system rather than a one bar, which was shown in the photo.
