Action & Action is the signature dual drive pedal from The Get Up Kids. The band has been using a combination of the Old Blue Overdrive and the Red Ryder Distortion on bass and guitar for the last couple of years. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of their record Something To Write Home About, Oneder has combined both circuits into one enclosure, tailoring the clipping sections to Rob and Jim’s specific tone onstage.

The Old Blue side is a low to mid gain always-on overdrive that the band uses as their base tone, while the Red Ryder is a ratty, hard-clipping distortion, made even more versatile with its clean blend knob (sick on bass), for when the Kids kick things up a notch for leads and heavier sections.

FEATURES:

-Fully independent channels (a true 2 in 1) with each side featuring volume, gain, tone, and a pre-gain low end contour

-The Old Blue Overdrive side (right) always comes first in the circuit, serving as a great base tone for guitar and bass alike

-The Red Ryder Distortion side (left) comes second in the chain to use as a boost for leads and heavier parts, or to use as your primary drive while using the Old Blue as a pre-gain boost 

-Both sides feature asymmetrical silicon diode clipping, committing TGUK’s favorite settings to the circuit

-Clickless relay bypass footswitches

-Top-mounted jacks
