fresh cacao seeds for planting wet cocoa seeds Ceremonial Cacao SeedsCacao beans, also known as cacao seeds, are the whole, unprocessed form of the cacao fruit after fermentation and drying. Preserved in their complete structure, they represent cacao in its most direct and untouched state and deeply rooted in ancestral tradition. Cacao beans, also known as cacao seeds, are the whole, unprocessed form of the cacao fruit after fermentation and drying. Preserved in their complete structure, they represent cacao in its most direct and untouched state and deeply rooted in ancestral tradition.
These beans offer a deep, bitter chocolate profile with natural complexity, making them suitable for either further processing into cacao nibs, paste, and culinary use or for ritual purposes. These ceremonial cacao seeds may be used as offerings within ritual spaces or prepared with intention for personal use, inviting a slower, more conscious engagement with cacao’s heritage, spirit, and presence.
Sourced from Indigenous Maya communities of Guatemala & Belize, these seeds reflect a living relationship between land, people, and cacao. Carefully harvested in harmony with natural cycles, then sun-dried and hand-sorted, they retain their natural form and character, offering a tangible connection to cacao’s origins beyond the cup.
